McKay’s busy office is based at the port of Tauranga and offers a full range of agency services for container, reefer, cruise and dry-bulk vessels.

McKay's also provides a full range of marketing services for both import and export cargoes.

The Port of Tauranga is the ocean port for the city of Tauranga and also serves the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions of the North Island. Tauranga is New Zealand’s major export port for forestry, dairy and kiwifruit products.

The port is operated by the Port of Tauranga Ltd and has two operational ports, Tauranga and Mt Maunganui, which are situated on either side of the main harbour.

Tauranga Port has a modern container terminal with four gantry cranes including three of post Panamax size.

Mt Maunganui offers services for reefer vessels, cruise liners, and dry bulk vessels including logs, fertilisers, woodchips, paper pulp and newsprint.
